Alida Segal in performance
Character/folkloric dance is now a dynamic dance form which originally stemmed from the rich cultures of European countries and also the Far East. Closely linked to classical ballet and following a similar class structure, character dance is a major part of training for classical dancers and provides a fun and expressive outlet for dancers of all abilities and age groups.
